Itinerary:

Nov 1-2
San Francisco USA to Auckland, NZ.  Fly overnight to New Zealand.

Nov 3 
Your room is available for immediate occupancy and rest before and orientation tour of Auckland City.

Dinner at Harbourside Restaurant. (D)

Nov 4
Waiheke Island wineries.  Depart by high-speed catamaran to Waitemata Harbour on Waiheke Island for wineries and tour. (BL)

Nov 5
Auckland to Queenstown (by air). Upon arrival depart directly to Gibbston Valley for lunch and tour.  Afternoon tour of historic Arrowtown and jet boat ride. (BLD)

Nov 6
Explore central Otago Valley and Pinot Noir with Ralph and winery owner, Heather Olssen. (BLD)

Nov 7
Delightful day to explore the Doubtful Sound and picturesque southland. (BLD)

Nov 8
Queenstown to Christchurch (by air) Upon arrival visit the Antarctic Center and Us Operation Deep Freeze base.  Afternoon free to explore Christchurch. (BL)

Nov 9
part Christchurch for Canterbury Wineries and the outdoor thermal pools of Hammer Springs Hotel. (BLD)

Nov 10
HammerSprings/Kaikoura/Blenheim

Travel along the coast of the Pacific Ocean to Blenheim. (BLD)

Nov 11
Blenheim and the Marborough Wineries.  This is New Zealand’s top wine producing area.  (BLD)

Nov 12
Blenheim to Wellington. (High speed ferry) City tour of Wellington then to Palmerston North and visit with Gordon and Anne Pilone’s reclaimed wetlands and local wineries. (BD)

Nov 13 
Palmerston North to Hawkes Bay.  Meet with Alwyn Corbin and tour local wineries in Hawkes Bay. (BLD)

Nov 14
Hawkes Bay/Lake Taupo/Rotorua.  Leisure departure for Lake Taupo, largest lake in New Zealand, to Rotorua. (BL)

Nov 15
Morning tour of New Zealand’s culture.  Afternoon free for shopping! Farewell “Hangi” Dinner.

Nov 16
Rotorua to Auckland airport.  Our final lunch at the Hotel De Vin ends this wonderful tour.

Tour Price: $5999.00 per person (land only) Single supplement $1499.00.
